Abstract

The Pontianak City Land Office and Pontianak City Government have agreed to cooperate to carry out the legalization of land assets of the Pontianak City Government as many as 3.946 parcels. However, the implementation of asset land registration has so far encountered various obstacles that hinder the process. Facing these problems, the Pontianak City Land Office needs to prepare a strategy by building a web-based information system that is flexible and lighter, and can provide input in the form of spatial data easily. The purpose of this research are to build an information system that can facilitate the process of land asset certificates for the Pontianak City Government and determine the implementation of the results of the information system design based on user responses. This research uses research and development method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies. The results of this research are a web-based information system that can conduct land registration electronically by uploading the required documents and delineation of the requested land parcels, so it’s easier the process of collecting juridical data and physical data. Beside that, the applicant can monitor the position of the file which is in the process of land registration at the Pontianak City Land Office. The implementation of the system created is able to present an attractive user interface, be able to integrate asset data and land data, can facilitate the collection of juridical data and physical data, and provide reporting features that can be accessed by all accounts.
