Abstract

Along with the increasing number of the population and the increased development sector causes the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural is very difficult to be avoided. The current problem is that there is not enough data about LP2B yet. There needs to be an analysis of the suitability of LP2B area inventory data to RTRW and existing conditions to know the potential distribution of PLP2B area. This research was conducted in Kendari City. This research was conducted in Kendari City, to find out the potential of LP2B and its compliance with RTRW. The method used to achieve this goal is an explorative qualitative research method with a spatial approach to understand certain symptoms in order to have a deeper knowledge through the medium of space in which case space variables get the main position in each analysis. This study also mapped and made information data about the distribution of potential PLP2B areas in Kendari City. Based on the results of this study, it is that the data of LP2B area inventory in 2020 found a discrepancy with RTRW which is an area of 721,41 Ha or 67,13% and for the appropriate area of 353,20 Ha or 32,87% of the overall area of 1074,61 Ha, LP2B area inventory data in 2020 on existing conditions also found a discrepancy of 363,41 Ha or 33,82% and for the appropriate area of 721,41 Ha or 67,13% of the overall area of 1074,61 Ha. As for the distribution of potential PLP2B area found any discrepancies to RTRW and existing conditions that are an area of 211,25 Ha or 19,66% and for the appropriate 863,36 Ha or 80,34%.
