Abstract
Almost in every region there will be overlapping disputes between Ownership Rights and BUMN Assets or the community and even government agencies. Eliminating the Sectoral Ego between government agencies and SOEs is the first step in resolving disputes and land cases in Indonesia. This form of settlement which does not see each other's interests in Langkat Regency is a beautiful thing in solving problems. This study aims to determine the resolution of overlapping disputes between forest areas and HGU PT. Putri Hijau and the community in Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. This study uses a qualitative method to analyze the implementation of the release of Forest Areas on the HGU of PT. Putri Hijau and part of PT. Putri Hijau to the community which is a private party who wants to give justice to the community. The data used to analyze this research are the results of interviews and document studies and related literacy. The results of this study are the basis for the application for HGU PT. Putri Hijau for the first time, Letter of Release of Forest Area and Letter of Release of PT. Putri Hijau to the community and the results of the Agrarian Reform to the people who have received certificates in 2018. Keywords: Release of Forestry Assets, Agrarian Reform
