Abstract

Increasing people's income in rural areas is a key goal of sustainable development. Physical and non-physical potential in a village area can be an important asset in achieving these goals. This study aims to analyze the prospects for developing access to reform in increasing community income based on physical and non-physical potential in Banyuraden Village, Gamping District, Sleman Regency. The research method used is field research with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of this study identify the physical and non-physical potentials possessed by Banyuraden Village, such as natural resources, local culture, and local wisdom. Furthermore, this study analyzes the obstacles that hinder the development of access to reform in the village. The results of the analysis show that there is a great opportunity to increase people's incomes through the development of access to reform based on physical and non-physical potential. However, there are obstacles such as licensing, market access, and public awareness that need to be overcome. Therefore, policy recommendations are given to support the development of sustainable access to reform. This research provides an in-depth understanding of the potential and challenges in developing rural community income based on physical and non-physical assets. Thus, the results of this study can be a guideline for the government, development institutions, and communities in an effort to improve welfare in rural areas.
