Abstract

This research aims to determine the linkage of legal products that become land disputes with land registration activities and dispute resolution due to the division of certificates of land rights through mediation by the Magelang Regency Land Office. Research on mediation efforts was carried out at the Land Office of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) in the context of resolving disputes due to differences in the measurement results of certified fields. The method used is empirical juridical research with primary data in the form of field interview data and secondary data in the form of regulations. The research uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques that use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions as an effort to get research results. Based on the results of the research, the link between land registration and legal dispute products is a legal product that has changed the shape and size of its land parcels. Changes in shape and area occur after land registration and re-measurement of fields. Three parties were the cause of the dispute, namely the owner of the field, neighboring neighbors and measuring officers. Land mediation includes various procedures such as preparing for a meeting of the parties, then sending invitations to the disputing parties, negotiating agreements, clarifying the parties, aligning the vision and mission of the parties, identifying the interests of the parties, generalizing the options presented, negotiations and formulating agreements. The mediation that was held did not result in an agreement because there were obstacles to the disputing parties insisting on defending their interests. In the end, re-measurement as an option offered in mediation was not carried out. Keywords: Mediation, Measurement results , dispute, land certificate
