Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of coastal community handling in Ambulu Village, as well as analyze the influence of livelihood assets and community vulnerability characteristics after the implementation of the access handling program provided by the partnership. The research was conducted in Ambulu Village, Losari District, Cirebon Regency, West Java. The data sources used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Camputran's research method with data collection techniques in this study used observation, documentation, deep interviews to 5 informants and 59 survey respondents. The survey was conducted by analyzing the condition of livelihood assets, namely physical, financial, social, natural resources and human resources. The results showed that the access handling program partnered with 6 institutions with 11 programs in it. Access management programs have an impact on the vulnerability of physical assets and financial assets. Physical assets changed from the medium category to the high category, while financial assets changed from the low category to the medium category. Conversely, access handling had no effect on social assets, natural resource assets and human resource assets.
