Abstract

The construction of the Sosrodilogo Bridge which connects Trucuk District with Bojonegoro District began construction in 2016 and was completed in 2019. The ease of access to the bridge attracts people to invest and settle and supports higher mobility in the area, resulting in business opportunities emerging by optimizing land use. . Based on this, this research was carried out to determine the development of land use after the construction of the bridge, other supporting factors that influence the development of land use and the socio-economic conditions of the community. This research uses mixed methods, namely qualitative and quantitative with cluster sampling techniques. The quantitative method was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents in Trucuk Village and Tulungrejo Village, while the qualitative method was carried out by interviewing informants and field observations. The results of this research show that from a physical perspective changes in land use occurred around the bridge with the growth of economic activity by 1.50 Ha and 2.05 Ha for residential areas. Based on the T test, a significance value of 0.000 was obtained, so it can be concluded that the construction of the Sosrodilogo Bridge has an influence on the development of land use, while other supporting factors that influence the development of land use are economic activities, land value and infrastructure. Furthermore, the social impact resulting from the construction of the bridge can be seen from the livelihoods of the people who currently have side jobs, while the economic impact can be seen from the increase in people's income for those who are able to carry out livelihood strategies by seeking additional income outside their main livelihood.
