Abstract

Technological developments in the Society 5.0 era have brought human life towards the Internet of Things (IoT). One of the roles of technology is to provide convenience to every step in human life, including in the context of administrative services. Technology is an important part in realizing good governance which is able to provide better services to the community. One element that must be paid attention to in the context of using information technology is the archives sector. Archives are one of the important things to develop management in order to provide better services to the community. Records management by utilizing an information system is a very important need, so with this background, an Integrated Land Records Management Information System was designed. The method used in this research is Research and Development (RnD). Design of an Integrated Land Records Management Information System at the Jombang Regency Land Office using the Software Development Life Cycle with the Waterfall method. The stages of designing an Integrated Land Records Management Information System using the waterfall method consist of requirements analysis, design, program coding, testing and maintenance. From this design, the results showed that there are several advantages and disadvantages to the Integrated Land Records Management Information System. The advantages obtained are that it is a method for managing archives with a new concept, makes it easier for everyone to operate, is in line with current developments, speeds up the work process, serves as a data backup for land archives, and can display the required information. Meanwhile, there are drawbacks, namely that document searches are still relatively difficult and there are no features that support data updates. From the design of the Integrated Land Records Management Information System, the majority of respondents were satisfied with the information system, and hoped that it could be developed further in the future. The results of different tests state that there is a significant difference between the process of opening land archive documents before and after using the Integrated Land Archive Management Information system.
