Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the land redistribution program on former perdikan land in Panusupan Village, Rembang District, Purbalingga Regency. Perdikan land has a long history in Indonesia as land granted to certain groups or individuals exempt from taxes. Over time, the land redistribution program was introduced to improve welfare and reduce land ownership inequality in the community. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to gain an in-depth understanding of the land redistribution process, the challenges faced, and the solutions applied. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation from various related sources. The results of the study indicate that the land redistribution process in Panusupan Village faces various challenges, including limited human resources, lack of residential documentation, difficult geographical conditions, technological deficiencies, land disputes, and high costs. Implemented solutions include improving training and recruitment of officers, socializing the importance of residential documentation, developing basic infrastructure, and simplifying administrative procedures. This land redistribution program is expected to operate more effectively and fairly, thereby improving community welfare. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of land redistribution implementation in Indonesia, particularly on former perdikan land, and offers recommendations to enhance program effectiveness in the future.
