Abstract

Population growth can encourage changes in the function of rice fields, so it is feared that there could be a mismatch between existing land use and the LSD map in Ngawi Regency. Discrepancies between land use and the LSD map can also occur before the LSD is established in 2021. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the discrepancy between existing land use and LSD in Ngawi Regency, to find out the factors causing the discrepancy between existing land use and LSD in Ngawi Regency. and produce a priority zoning map for controlling the transfer of LSD functions in Ngawi Regency. This research uses quantitative methods with documentary data collection techniques. The existing land use map with the LSD map in Ngawi Regency has a land suitability of 94.36% or an area of 45,316.00 hectares and a land suitability of 5.64% or an area of 2,710.95. The factors causing the discrepancy between existing land use and the LSD map in Ngawi Regency are the land use discrepancy before the establishment of the LSD of 99.87% or an area of 2,707.87 hectares and the transfer of LSD function of 0.13% or an area of 3.55 hectares. The priority forms for controlling the transfer of LSD functions in Ngawi Regency are in the form of high priority zones, medium priority zones and low priority zones.
