Abstract
Kembaran District is one of the suburban areas that has emerged as a form of real impact on the urban development of Purwokerto. This study aims to determine the typology of changes in agricultural land use to non-agriculture, the distribution pattern of changes in agricultural land use to non-agriculture in the period 2016-2022, determine the environmental impact, and efforts to control changes in agricultural land use to non-agriculture in Kembaran District. This study uses a mix methods research method with a spatial approach. The results of the study show that the types and areas of changes in agricultural land use in Kembaran District in 2016-2022 are grouped into 6, namely Mixed Gardens-Rare Villages (1,954 Ha), Mixed Gardens-Rare Housing (0.156 Ha), Irrigation Rice Fields 2x Rice/Year-Small Industry (5,838 Ha), Irrigation Rice Fields 2x Rice/Year - Road Network (0.270 Ha), Irrigation Rice Fields 2x Rice/Year-Rare Villages (3,374 Ha), and Irrigation Rice Fields 2x Rice/Year-Rare Housing (2,642 Ha). The distribution pattern of changes in agricultural land use to non-agricultural in Kembaran District is in the form of clustered. The environmental impacts of changing agricultural land use to non-agriculture in Kembaran District are grouped into 3, namely the effect on land (erosion and decrease in land capacity), the effect on water (decrease in groundwater quality), and the influence on air (air pollution resulting from industrial and transportation activities). Efforts to control the change in agricultural land use to non-agricultural in Kembaran District have not been officially carried out by the government to the community.
