Abstract
The existence of agricultural land is an important sector in supporting national food security. However, from time to time the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural land continues to take place and becomes a big challenge. This study aims to determine the suitability and incompatibility of Sustainable Food Agriculture Areas (KP2B) and Protected Rice Fields (LSD) with the Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW). The method used is a mixing method with a sequential explanatory strategy. The results of this research are: (1) the distribution of suitability and non-conformity of KP2B and LSD to RTRW is spread evenly across all sub-districts; (2) suitability of KP2B to RTRW, namely 10264.438 ha or 46.156% and nonconformity, namely 11830.116 ha or 53.207%; (3) suitability of LSD to RTRW, namely 11752.641 ha or 40.915% and nonconformity, namely 16818.593 ha or 58.552%; (4) mismatches between KP2B and LSD with RTRW often occur in the spatial patterns of Community Forests; (5) indications are that the discrepancy between KP2B and LSD to RTRW has an impact on the Conformity of Space Utilization Activities (KKPR) service process. Keywords: Land conversion, KP2B, LSD, RTRW
