Abstract

Infrastructure development, including roads, is very important to support economic growth and community welfare. The South Ring Road (JLS) in Salatiga City was built to speed up transportation and support economic growth. The purpose of this article is to determine the impact of the use of land acquisition compensation money on the welfare of the entitled parties. This study uses a qualitative method. The data obtained was collected through interviews, observation and document study. The results of this research show that the compensation money given to entitled parties was used for various purposes such as building a house, opening a business, meeting daily needs, and others. There was an increase in welfare for several parties who received compensation money, but there were also parties who did not experience significant changes. The use of compensation money for land acquisition has varying impacts on community welfare. It is important to ensure that the compensation process is carried out fairly and transparently to minimize negative impacts. Keywords: Compensation Money, Utilization, Welfare.
