Abstract
Abstract: This research discusses the strategic problems and solutions for optimizing land rights transfer registration services at the Yogyakarta City Land Office. Public services according to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 25 of 2009 Article 1 are activities to fulfill service needs according to regulations for citizens. The transfer of land rights in the Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) has positive and negative impacts on legality, investment and legal certainty. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research results show that even though the service is considered very good, there are still obstacles in public understanding and the service process takes a long time. To overcome obstacles, solutions such as increasing human resources, procuring adequate equipment, and more intensive outreach are proposed. With these steps, it is hoped that public services can be more responsive, professional and meet community needs optimally.
