Abstract

Toll road construction often causes problems in the process of its activities. Likewise, the construction of the Kediri-Tulungagung toll road, especially in Tiron Village, also has its own problems and solutions. The problems that occur can hamper the progress of land acquisition activities in Tiron Village. The aim of this research is to determine the process of implementing the land acquisition mechanism at the implementation stage in Tiron Village in the construction of the Kediri-Tulungagung Toll Road and to analyze the problems and solutions. Using qualitative methods and a case study approach, data was obtained from observations, interviews, and literature studies. Data analysis shows that problems in the land acquisition process in Tiron Village, especially at the implementation stage, include land owners not being found, differences in measurement results, inheritance problems, problems at the time of announcement, differences in land value, rejection of the amount of compensation, residents who do not want to take the money. compensation for losses, as well as difficulties in finding a replacement for the agency's land. The solutions taken by stakeholders include consignment, verification and providing explanations, mediation and family approaches, second announcements, and persuasion. However, the shortcomings of this research include limited data collection and research coverage only at one stage and one village area. Therefore, it is hoped that further research will be able to obtain maximum data and expand the scope of the research, both regional and theoretical coverage.
