Abstract

Quality public services are crucial for achieving societal well-being. In Indonesia, public services still face various challenges that hinder their efficiency and effectiveness. To improve service quality, the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (Kementerian ATR/BPN) is implementing bureaucratic reforms focusing on public service innovation. One such innovation is the Weekend Land Services (Pelataran) program, launched by the Regional Office of BPN South Sulawesi Province, specifically the Gowa District Land Office. The Pelataran program aims to facilitate public access to land services on weekends, reducing dependency on brokers and enhancing public satisfaction with the services provided. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Pelataran program through several aspects: types of land registration, the Public Satisfaction Index (IKM), challenges faced by employees, and employees' responses to the implementation of this program. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach and secondary data analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to users of the Pelataran service and interviews with employees of the Gowa District Land Office. The results show that the Pelataran program effectively increases public access to land services and receives positive responses from employees. However, several challenges need to be addressed to improve service quality. These findings are expected to provide input for the Ministry of ATR/BPN in its efforts to continuously innovate public services and accelerate the land registration process in Indonesia.
