Abstract

The management of regional assets based on the principles of transparency, effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability has certainly become an obligation to provide more optimal public services. However, even though there have been regulations specifically set for the management of regional assets or goods, there are still problems that have not been implemented properly. One of the problems that often occurs in the implementation of regional asset management is in the process of securing assets. The management of fixed assets in the form of land in Bojonegoro Regency still has several problems, especially in securing its land assets. This study examines the optimization of land asset security, issues, and solutions implemented by the Bojonegoro Regency Government. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method with data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the results of the research conducted, it is known that in its implementation it has been carried out by applicable regulations both in terms of physical security, administration, and law. However, in its implementation there are still several obstacles and problems that occur due to lack of supervision of the physical land assets, data updates related to data information have not been carried out, as well as lack of awareness of regional apparatus organizations and the existence of several land assets claimed by the community. In facing these various problems, the Bojonegoro Regency Government requires appropriate strategies and solutions. Keywords: Asset Management, Asset Security, Land Assets
