Abstract

Land mafias is an individual, group, or organization that hinders the implementation of land governance which has a detrimental impact on society and the state. In an effort to resolve and prevent this land mafia practice from happening again, an in-depth study is needed regarding the role of the land office in reducing the number of land mafia practices, as happened in this case, namely the falsification of land certificates in Bekasi Regency by suspects RD and PS which are suspected of being the result of land mafia actions. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the Bekasi Regency Land Office in resolving land mafia cases and whether the actions taken by the Bekasi Regency Land Office to prevent land mafia cases from happening again are in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Number 15 of 2024. The method in this study is normative-empirical juridical which looks at social problems and analysis based on applicable regulations through literature studies. The results of the study show that the Bekasi Regency Land Office has resolved land mafia cases in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Number 15 of 2024. On the other hand, in addition to the role of the land office, the role of the Anti-Land Mafia Task Force is also involved in resolving land mafia cases that occur in Bekasi Regency.
