Abstract

Rice grain management by farmers in Gebangsari Village was previously conducted using traditional methods, resulting in low product quality and limited farmer income. This study aims to analyze the transformation in grain management practices before and after the utilization of land ownership certificates as collateral for business loans. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, using semi-structured interviews and documentation, involving two key farmer groups as primary informants. The findings show that after utilizing land certificates to access capital, farmers experienced significant improvements in both productivity and grain quality. They were able to purchase drying and milling equipment, manage agricultural production independently, and increase the market value of their crops. Land ownership certificates functioned not only as legal documents but also as economic assets that strengthened farmer independence and the sustainability of agricultural enterprises. This study highlights the importance of asset legalization in supporting rural empowerment and strengthening local food security.
