Abstract

Conflict resolution is a process or effort to resolve a conflict between hostile parties. Conflict is inseparable from social life, of course, in the context of development to support the economy throughout the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to determine the history of land, conflict staging, mapping of role relations between parties, and conflict resolution efforts in the Steam Power Plant (PLTU) Unit 2 Kanci Cirebon. The research was conducted from March to April 2025 in the area around PLTU Unit 2 Kanci. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, which describes the meaning of data or phenomena captured by researchers by showing evidence. This data comes from observation, document review, and the results of interviews with all informants, which are in the form of descriptions of “pieces” of the issues or phenomena under study. The results of the study found that the conflict resolution that had been carried out had not been able to provide satisfactory results for all parties involved or an agreement had not been reached that could resolve the core of the problem, so that the conflict at PLTU Unit 2 Kanci Cirebon continued.
