Abstract

Over time, the population continues to increase resulting in higher demand for land and conversion of agricultural land. Land conversion is a partial or complete change in the function of an area from its original function to another function. Land conversion, especially on agricultural land, can have an impact on food problems, namely rice production. Boyolali Regency is one of the areas that experienced a downward trend in rice production in the 2015-2023 period due to the conversion of paddy fields. Thus, the conversion of agricultural land can threaten rice food security. The purpose of this paper is to determine the distribution pattern of agricultural land conversion to non-agricultural land and to predict food security in Boyolali Regency. The method in this research uses quantitative research with a spatial analysis approach. The results show that the distribution pattern of agricultural land conversion to non-agricultural land is clustered with an ANN value of 0.572. Predicted food security in 2024 has a surplus. Food security in Boyolali Regency will be limited in 13.74 years. Keywords: Land conversion, rice, food security, distribution pattern
