Abstract

The development of information technology in the digital era demands that government institutions, including the Land Office, innovate in archive management. Land-related issues and the targets of land registration are key factors in accelerating services, thus requiring effective land archive governance. This study aims to identify user needs, design the system, and evaluate the Land Archive Information System "SIAP" at the Land Office of Lebak Regency. This research employs the research and development (R&D) method. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, observation, and literature studies. Users require an information system that is user-friendly, integrated, and capable of documenting all activities related to the borrowing and returning of archives digitally. The system design accommodates all related needs concerning Cadastral Maps, Land Books, Land Deeds (Warkah), Survey Documents, and Registration Maps. It is also equipped with features for recording transaction histories, generating reports, assigning locker codes, and providing automatic reminders. Evaluation is carried out using the Blackbox Testing method and the PIECES Framework, which consists of six variables: Performance, Information, Economics, Control, Efficiency, and Service. The test results indicate that user satisfaction with the "SIAP" system scored 4.5, which falls under the "very good" category. Overall, the developed information system is effective, though improvements are needed in the areas of control and security. This abstract is expected to serve as a reference for developers and relevant institutions in the development of land archive information systems.
