Abstract

analyzes the performance of Fieldstaff at the Biak Numfor Land Office, the factors influencing it, and the impact of their final reports on the decision-making process. The research findings indicate that the Fieldstaff's performance is generally good, characterized by adequate accuracy in measurement and mapping, timely task completion, and satisfactory report and documentation quality. The professionalism of Fieldstaff in carrying out field duties is also high. However, several obstacles hinder optimal performance, including limited supporting facilities, technical challenges in difficult geographical areas, and administrative delays due to internal bureaucracy. External factors such as extreme weather and low community participation also play a role. The factors influencing Fieldstaff performance are diverse, encompassing internal aspects such as technical capabilities, training, infrastructure support, and work motivation and commitment, as well as external aspects like geographical conditions and community social dynamics. The Fieldstaff's final reports have a significant impact on decision-making at the Biak Numfor Land Office, serving as primary data sources for policy formulation, strategic planning, and land program evaluation. The accuracy, timeliness, and quality of these reports are crucial for service efficiency and successful land management in the region. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance training and competency development, improve work facilities and infrastructure, strengthen reporting and communication systems, and address external constraints through collaboration with the community and stakeholders.
