Abstract
Agricultural land conversion in peri-urban areas poses a significant threat to regional food security. This study aims to analyze the spatial patterns of land conversion, identify the influencing factors, and predict future food security in Sumbang and Kembaran Sub-districts, Banyumas Regency. A quantitative spatial approach was employed using the census method across 35 villages. Data were analyzed using Average Nearest Neighbor (ANN) for spatial patterns, multiple linear regression for determining influencing factors, and mathematical calculations for food security predictions. The results indicate that agricultural land decreased by 1,087.20 hectares between 2015 and 2025. The spatial pattern of land conversion is clustered (T=0.704, Z=-18.144), predominantly in areas bordering Purwokerto City. Statistically, population density and road length significantly affect land conversion, whereas distance to the city center does not.
