Abstract

Land plays an important role in national development, so the government, through ATR/BPN, encourages the completion of PTSL by involving Licensed Surveyor Service Offices (KJSB) in survey and mapping services, where its success depends on the perception of Land Office employees toward the role of KJSB. This study aims to determine the perception of employees of the Sleman Regency Land Office toward the role of KJSB and the factors influencing it, using a descriptive qualitative method through interviews with 10 informants (purposive sampling), analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing based on the five dimensions of SERVQUAL: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results show that KJSB is considered to have performed reasonably well in supporting survey and mapping services, as reflected in adequate equipment, compliance with technical standards, a responsive attitude, accountability, and good cooperation, although improvements are still needed in administration, coordination, and communication; this perception is influenced by internal factors (experience, technical knowledge, attentiveness, understanding of service standards, level of involvement) and external factors (facilities and infrastructure, reliability of measurement results, timeliness, responsiveness, coordination, field/administrative constraints), so that overall, employees' perception is positive, although communication and coordination still need to be improved.
