Abstract

Baturraden District, Banyumas Regency, is an area with a high potential for landslide disasters due to its mountainous topography, steep slopes, and high rainfall intensity. The continuous development of residential areas in this region may increase disaster risk if spatial planning and landslide susceptibility factors are not properly considered. This study aims to analyze landslide susceptibility and settlement suitability using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), as well as develop a three-dimensional (3D) visualization to support spatial interpretation. This research employed a quantitative approach using GIS-based spatial analysis. Landslide susceptibility was analyzed through scoring, weighting, and weighted overlay techniques based on rainfall, geology, soil type, slope, and land use parameters. Settlement suitability was evaluated by overlaying landslide susceptibility maps, settlement distribution maps, and the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) of Banyumas Regency. Furthermore, a 3D visualization model was developed using DEMNAS data integrated with landslide susceptibility and settlement data through Blender and BlenderGIS. The results indicate that Baturraden District is divided into low, moderate, and high landslide susceptibility zones, with moderate and high susceptibility predominantly located in the northern region. Settlement suitability analysis shows that the "suitable but vulnerable" category occupies the largest area, covering 300.08 hectares (56.80%), while the "less suitable" category covers 217.21 hectares (41.12%). The developed 3D visualization provides an additional visual representation of the relationship between topography, landslide susceptibility, and settlement distribution. This visualization serves as a supporting medium for spatial interpretation and communication of analysis results in disaster mitigation planning. Keywords: landslide susceptibility, settlement suitability, GIS, spatial analysis, 3D visualization.
