Abstract

This study discusses the issues related to the implementation of land data validation in the process of transferring electronic certificate media at the Tangerang Selatan City Land Office. Changing from a traditional certificate to an electronic one requires careful matching and checking of both physical and legal data to make sure the information in the electronic system matches the original document. During the process, validation is still facing several challenges, such as mismatched data in the survey documents, incomplete physical archives, and limited human resources in understanding the procedures and electronic systems. This study aims to examine the different issues that arise during the validation process and to identify the efforts made to address them. The method used is study case, with a qualitative approach through library research and interviews. Research results show that land data validation is not yet fully working well because of administrative, technical, and operational challenges. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the skills of the staff, organize land records in a more systematic way, and strengthen the validation procedures so that the transition to electronic certificates can be carried out effectively and provide legal certainty.
