Abstract
Public services are a crucial instrument for realizing public welfare through the provision of services that are fast, easy, transparent, and oriented to community needs. However, optimizing public services at the village level still faces various obstacles that affect service quality and efforts to improve public welfare. This study aims to analyze public service optimization, identify the obstacles faced, and analyze the solutions implemented by the Pucung Village Government to improve public welfare. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through Interviews, Observations and Documentation Studies, followed by analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that optimizing public services in Pucung Village is carried out through simplifying administrative services, utilizing information technology, structuring land administration, increasing the capacity of civil servants, and strengthening public information transparency and service accountability. These services contribute to improving community welfare in the economic, social, cultural, and psychological dimensions. Obstacles faced include limited human resources, gaps in access and digital literacy, limited infrastructure, land administration constraints, and less than optimal accuracy of welfare data. To overcome these challenges, the Pucung Village Government is strengthening the capacity of civil servants and providing community assistance, developing technology-based service innovations, building adaptive infrastructure, strengthening cross-agency coordination, and verifying and updating welfare data. Thus, optimizing public services in Pucung Village contributes to improving community welfare by improving service quality and strengthening various aspects of development at the village level.
