Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of Sustainable Development principles in the Land Consolidation (LC) program in Soro Village, Dompu Regency, and to examine its contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14 (Life Below Water). This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing based on the five pillars of sustainable development (People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership) and the targets of SDG 14. The findings indicate that the implementation of LC in Soro Village has generally reflected the principles of sustainable development. The People, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership pillars were categorized as compliant, while under the Planet pillar, the sanitation and drainage indicators were categorized as compliant, whereas waste management was categorized as partially compliant. The legal certainty indicators under the Prosperity and Peace pillars could not yet be assessed because the land title certification process was still ongoing. Furthermore, LC contributes to the achievement of SDG 14, particularly Targets 14.1, 14.2, 14.5, and 14.b, through spatial planning of coastal settlements, the construction of drainage and sanitation facilities, the improvement of environmental quality, the provision of 483 m2 of green open space, and the construction and improvement of 1,420 meters of neighborhood roads to enhance accessibility for coastal communities. The study concludes that the implementation of LC in Soro Village not only supports sustainable land management but also contributes to sustainable coastal development by improving settlement infrastructure, promoting environmentally sound land use, and supporting the protection of coastal ecosystems. Keywords: Land Consolidation, Sustainable Development, SDG 14, Coastal Area.
