Abstract

Sidomoyo Village has physical and non-physical potentials that can support local economic development. However, the utilization of these potentials has not been fully supported by integrated access to capital, capacity building, production facilities, markets, and business partnerships. This study aims to identify the village's physical and non-physical potentials, describe the existing community economy, analyze local economic development opportunities, and formulate an agrarian reform access arrangement scheme to increase community income in Sidomoyo Village, Godean District, Sleman Regency. This study employed a survey method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document studies, and analyzed using qualitative descriptive and spatial analyses to examine the relationship between regional characteristics, existing economic conditions, and opportunities for community economic development. The results show that Sidomoyo Village has strong physical potential, including fertile Regosol soil, relatively flat terrain, year-round water availability, and good accessibility. Its non-physical potential is reflected in a productive workforce, relatively good educational attainment, diverse community skills, active community organizations, and rich arts and cultural resources. Existing economic activities include agriculture, horticulture, livestock, fisheries, trade, services, home industries, the creative economy, and tourism. Based on these potentials, an agrarian reform access arrangement scheme is proposed, integrating physical and non-physical resource development, strengthening existing economic activities, and stakeholder collaboration through access to capital, training, production facilities, market expansion, and business partnerships. This scheme is expected to enhance productivity, add business value, and sustainably improve community income. Keywords: regional potential, community economy, access arrangement, agrarian reform, Sidomoyo Village.
