Abstract
The construction of Dhoho Kediri has an impact on the surrounding community, particularly the residents of Grogol Village. The perceived impacts on the community include changes in land use within Grogol Village area and alterations in the local economy. The aim of this research is to investigate the potential impacts resulting from the construction of Dhoho Kediri Airport on land use, specifically focusing on changes in land use in Grogol Village, as well as the economic changes in the community, such as livelihoods, income, and land value in Grogol Village. The research methodology utilized is qualitative-descriptive with a spatial approach. Data for the study are based on satellite imagery of Grogol Village from the years 2017 and 2023, alongside interviews with relevant officials and members of the Grogol Village community. Image analysis was conducted visually, overlaying land use maps from 2017 and 2023 to identify changes in land use. Furthermore, economic changes in the community were analyzed by examining shifts in livelihoods, income, and land value in Grogol Village. The research findings indicate that the construction of the airport led to significant changes in land use, with paddy fields experiencing the most substantial alteration, amounting to 54.92%. Additionally, the local economy witnessed changes, with a 56% shift in livelihoods, an 81% increase in community income, and an overall rise in land value in Grogol Village. The presence of Dhoho Kediri Airport significantly impacted land use in Grogol Village, and further changes are expected to occur as the construction of new buildings continues to evolve in tandem with the airport's growth.
