Abstract

Innovation in public services has become a new culture for the government as an effort to improve the quality of public services. The Land Office of Parepare City has implemented an innovative land case inventory called Sikatutui. This innovation is motivated by the fact that the handling of land cases is not integrated between the Land Office and the urban village in Parepare City, making it difficult to identify problematic land in Parepare City. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of Sikatutui activities carried out by the Parepare City Land Office, to determine the progress of handling and completion of post-Sikatutui activities and to determine the effect of the implementation of Sikatutui activities on land services in Parepare City. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results showed that, Sikatutui had been carried out according to the stages and time specified by mapping 48 land cases in Parepare City. Handling and settlement of land cases that have been inventoried are carried out at the Village Office, Land Office, and through the Judiciary. The implementation of Sikatutui has an impact on land services in the City of Parepare. Sikatutui's output in the form of a Land Case Map is used as an early warning system in supporting land services in the City of Parepare. Keywords: Innovation, Land Case, InventorY
