Abstract
The activity of providing road footprint land as a result of the splitting of land parcels for housing in Madiun City for developers (legal entities and individuals) is obliged to provide and submit road infrastructure to the Madiun City Government. This obligation also applies to applications for splitting up individual plots of non-developers with the assumption that the land is also sold for housing. It is natural and not a problem because the tread land provided by the developer has taken into account the price for the tread, so no compensation will be given. Facts in the field that field-solving activities do not always aim to be sold but are used alone. The same application will certainly reduce the values contained in the provisions of servitut rights. The purpose of this research is to find out the need to provide road tread land and how to implement the provision of road tread land originating from housing development in Madiun City. The method used is a qualitative method with a rationalistic approach. The results of this study indicate that the activity of providing road tread needs to be carried out because it ensures the fulfillment of space in settlements and housing through the availability of road network infrastructure, to implement legal provisions in ensuring the availability of road network infrastructure, maintenance of road tread land (legally, technically, administratively, socially). and can update data at the Land Office. Implementation of activities for providing road footprints in Madiun City through splitting land parcels, handing over land rights (resulting in the status of the rights being changed to state land), application for rights (use rights for roads).
