Abstract

This research is a mixed research with a spatial analysis approach in conducting analysis of Sustainable Food Agricultural Land (LP2B) in the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) and existing conditions. The research was conducted in Pagar Alam City with 5 villages as LP2B locations covering an area of 1,392.66 hectares which is indicated to have increased conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural land. In this study, the analysis of the suitability of LP2B in the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) to existing conditions will produce information on the use of agricultural land in Pagar Alam City which is used as one of the sources in determining and directing the use of LP2B, as well as minimizing the occurrence of land use change that will have an impact on food security, this is done by overlaying the Regional Spatial Plan Map (RTRW) and LP2B Area Map of Pagar Alam City. Pagar Alam City as an area located in the watershed of Mount Dempo has a supportive topography in agriculture. The topography and area of an agricultural land will affect the production results obtained. So that in this study an analysis will be carried out on the suitability of LP2B to RTRW and existing conditions, as well as the influence of extent on agricultural production results at the research site.
