Abstract

This research examines the problems of managing PT Garam's land assets in Pinggir Papas Village, Sumenep. Land is a strategic asset for PT Garam, supporting sustainable salt production activities. However, less than optimal management can cause legal, social conflicts and financial losses. This research aims to identify the main problems in managing PT Garam's land assets, analyze the impacts they cause, and formulate effective solutions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through interviews, observation and study of related documents. Research findings show four main problems: conflict with the Al Jihad Salt Farmers Foundation, Junaidi CS, Asbani CS, and Marsuto CS. SWOT analysis is used to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in managing PT Garam's land assets. Research recommendations in the form of a SWOT strategy include increasing transparency, optimizing asset utilization, and strengthening collaboration with the community and government to increase efficiency and reduce conflict. Proper implementation is expected to increase PT Garam's contribution to the local and national economy. Keyword: Land asset management, PT Garam, Problems, SWOT Analysis.
