Abstract

The object of this research is the urban area of Mentawa Baru Ketapang Subdistrict, data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis to describe the activities of preparing and determining the RDTR and the impact of the status of ownership, control, use, and utilization of land (P4T), then the results of data collection are analyzed and solutions are given regarding the problems that occur. Descriptive analysis techniques used in this research, by logically explaining the results of interviews, observations and document studies related to RDTR and P4T in East Kotawaringin Regency. The establishment of RDTR along the banks of the Mentaya River as a whole provides benefits in better and sustainable space management. In addition, the condition of land legalization located on the Mentaya River border has land and building ownership in this area is mostly private community property rights that have been passed down from generation to generation. Also, this land and building ownership needs to be directed towards improving Land Tenure Security in riverside settlements. Keywords: P4T, RDTR, Mentawa Baru Ketapang, Mentaya River
