Abstract

Law No. 6/2014 on Villages explains that villages have village assets. However, the DIY region has special regulations on land management. The existence of these special rights makes DIY have a characteristic difference in its rules compared to other regions so that the registration of Village Cash Land in the DIY area must be in the name of the sultanate/kadipaten. In this context, Village Cash Land is part of Village Land that is used to support the administration of the Village government. Such as the Village Cash Land in Purwodadi Sub-Village, Tepus Sub-District, Gunungkidul Regency with its diverse management and utilization. Basically, the management of village treasury land can provide benefits to increase village revenue optimally. This research was conducted to determine the dualism of the status of Village Cash Land, to determine the management system of Village Cash Land, and to determine the contribution of Village Cash Land management in increasing Village Original Revenue (PAD). This research was conducted qualitatively with a descriptive approach to determine the management of Village Cash Lands in increasing village revenue. There is a dualism of Village Treasury Land as a village asset and land owned by the Sultanate in Purwodadi Sub-district. In other words, the Governor Regulation of Yogyakarta Special Region contradicts Law No. 6/2014 on Villages. For the Village Cash Land management system, there are several references starting from the subject or managers and those who utilize and the object, namely the village cash land itself. There is also licensing and protection of Village Cash Land which aims to prevent unwanted things. In the management of Village Cash Land, it is used as agricultural land, public facilities (padukuhan halls, fields, mosques, and health centers), education places (pre-school, kindergarten, elementary, and junior high schools), castor oil buildings, and kiosks or markets. If public facilities and educational facilities are subject to rental fees, they can be used as potential village revenue. The results of village treasury land management will later be included in the village's original income and can contribute to financing in the fields of education, development, health, and society. Keywords: Village treasury land, management system, village revenue
