Abstract

Based on the collaboration between the Ministry of ATR/BPN and the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the certification of waqf land in 2022, the research aims to analyze the actualization, problems, solutions and contributions of religious institutions in the certification of waqf land in Jember Regency in 2023. The research method used used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews and document study. The informants from the interviews were the waqf land certification implementers at the Jember Regency Land Office and the Jember Regency Ministry of Religion Office. The research results show that the achievements of waqf land certifiers in the cross-sector land acceleration and registration program were not achieved due to several problems. One of the main factors is the low level of public awareness of the importance of waqf land certification. However, efforts have been made and will be made to overcome this problem. Contributions from the Jember Regency Ministry of Religion Office also play a role in supporting overcoming this problem. The hope is that the waqf land certification program can achieve the allocation targets set for the coming years. Keywords: certification, waqf, legal certainty
