Abstract

The present study focuses on analyzing the incompatibility of the Protected Rice Field Map with the Detailed Urban Spatial Plan on the Tourism Sector. The analysis employs the Spatial Buffering method and Spearman Correlation analysis. The methodology is employed to assess the incongruity between paddy fields and the surrounding area of the tourism buffer, which is incorporated within the radius of direct and indirect influence on the tourism sector. The findings of the analysis indicate that LSD mismatches continue to be influenced by the tourism sector, though to a relatively modest extent, as evidenced by the Spearman analysis test, wherein the p-value resides within the medium positive correlation category. The objective of this analysis is to identify priority areas, particularly villages within the tourism buffer radius. This will enable the formulation of strategic and effective land management strategies to support the tourism sector and facilitate spatial planning. The study's findings offer valuable insights and reference material for regional planners and policymakers, assisting them in the optimization of land use. It is imperative to mitigate the adverse ramifications of spatial incongruities to facilitate the realization of sustainable tourism development and regional advancement.
