Abstract

This study discusses the management of village assets and the exchange of village treasury land for community land in Dengkeng Village, Wedi District, Klaten Regency. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study concluded that the management of village assets in Dengkeng Village is in accordance with applicable regulations. The exchange began with an official auction from the village to nine community members. After occupying the land for years, the community proposed an exchange. The exchange was carried out by only one person, because the other community members had stated that they were unable to continue the exchange process because they had to provide replacement land. The exchange process proceeded according to regulations, with some administrative obstacles. Thus, the existing obstacles were successfully overcome and did not have a significant impact on the continuation of the land exchange process.
