Abstract

This study aims to determine the coordination of the administration of land indicated as abandoned by the Bogor Regency II Land Office. The approach used is an extended case study, also known as the extended case method, a social and cultural research approach. Based on Government Regulation 20 of 2021 concerning the Regulation of Abandoned Areas and Land, has the Bogor Regency II Land Office implemented it in accordance with regulations? However, due to a lack of coordination between sections in archiving, PT. Mitrakusuma Erasemesta, the owner of HGB 28/Singajaya, which is included in the database of land indicated as abandoned, requested a parcel division. During the parcel division activity carried out by the land office, at the stage of signing the certificate by the office head, the office head requested an adjustment to the land register. However, the land register was quarantined because it was blocked in the database of land indicated as abandoned, so PT. Mitrakusuma Erasemesta was asked to first process the land indicated as abandoned. This resulted in losses for PT. Mitrakusuma Erasemesta is concerned with time, as the parcel division process takes a considerable amount of time. This study demonstrates how the inventory and administration of land indicated as abandoned by the Bogor II Regency Land Office is carried out, and the efforts that PT. Mitrakusuma Erasemesta should have taken to remove its land from the database of land indicated as abandoned. This study indicates that the land division activity could have occurred because, at the time of registration, the land was still undergoing the inventory process for land indicated as abandoned, and a decree from the West Java Regional Office concerning the administration of the database of land indicated as abandoned had not yet been issued. However, the HGB 28/Singajaya status belonging to PT. Mitrakusuma Erasemesta had already been removed from the database of land indicated as abandoned based on a Decree issued by the Director General of Spatial Control and Order.
