Abstract

Indonesia, as an agrarian country, faces significant challenges due to rapid population growth, impacting social, economic, and environmental aspects, including land use. The limited availability of land, juxtaposed with increasing demand, has led to the conversion of agricultural land into non-agricultural areas. This phenomenon, often driven by uncontrolled urbanization, frequently violates spatial planning regulations, causing negative impacts on regional planning and environmental sustainability. The research focuses on the agricultural land use in Kalurahan Sidomoyo from 2010 to 2015, analyzing the extent of land conversion, productivity changes, and the factors influencing these shifts. The study aims to provide insights for scientists and policymakers, emphasizing the importance of efficient land use management to prevent agricultural land loss and ensure food security.
