Abstract

National development aims to achieve equitable and sustainable welfare. Infrastructure such as roads, toll roads, bridges, and ring roads serves to accelerate mobility and economic distribution across Indonesia. Due to limited land availability, the government implements land acquisition under Constitution No. 2/2012. One strategic project is the Jogja – Bawen toll road, which supports economic growth and enhances community welfare. This research aims to identify the utilization of compensation funds and their impact on the welfare of entitled parties in Keji Village, Muntilan District, Magelang Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a narrative approach, data were collected through interview, observations, and document studies. The results showed that around 75% or IDR 46.6 billion was used productively while 25% or IDR 9.3 billion was used consumptively. A total of 36 informants tended to use compensation funds productively while 10 informants leaned toward consumptive use. The impact on welfare can be seen in occupational shifts, additional side jobs, increased income, as well as higher expenditures Keywords: Utilization, Compensation Funds, Welfare
