Abstract
This study aims to (1) analyze the level of public trust in electronic land certificates (e-certificates), (2) analyze the level of community interest in switching to e-certificates, and (3) analyze the influence of trust level on switching interest in Jagalan Village, Mojokerto City. The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population consists of all land rights holders in Jagalan Village, totaling 1,115 individuals. A sample of 63 respondents was selected using cluster sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression with Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The descriptive analysis results indicate that the level of public trust falls into the moderate category (mean = 40.65, from a range of 23-70), with the majority of respondents (69.8%) classified in the moderate category, 12.7% in the low category, and 17.5% in the high category. The level of switching interest also falls into the moderately low category (mean = 9.62, from a range of 4-20), with 65.1% of respondents in the moderate category, while the low and high categories each accounted for 17.5%. The simple linear regression analysis yielded the equation Y = -2.292 + 0.293X, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.577, indicating that trust level explains 57.7% of the variance in switching interest, while the remaining 42.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The hypothesis test yielded a t-count value (9.120) exceeding the t-table (1.999) with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. In conclusion, the level of public trust has a positive and significant effect on community interest in switching to electronic land certificates in Jagalan Village. Mojokerto City.
