Abstract

Land services are one of the important forms of public service in fulfilling community needs. Service quality is not only influenced by service systems and procedures but also by internal organizational factors, particularly employee job satisfaction as service providers. This study aims to determine the effect of employee job satisfaction on the quality of land services at the Bandung City Land Office. This study used a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population consisted of 170 active employees at the Bandung City Land Office, with a sample of 60 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that employee job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the quality of land services at the Bandung City Land Office. The simple linear regression analysis obtained a regression coefficient value of 0.409 with a significance value of <0.001 and a beta coefficient value of 0.733. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination test showed an R2 value of 0.538, indicating that employee job satisfaction explains 53.8% of the variation in land service quality, while the remaining 46.2% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Therefore, improving employee job satisfaction is an important factor in supporting better land service quality.
