Abstract

A landslide in Pasir Madang Village, Sukajaya Subdistrict, Bogor Regency caused damage to residential areas and prompted the government to designate a relocation site for the affected communities. The selection of the relocation site must not only take safety considerations into account but also comply with the applicable spatial plan. This study aims to identify the factors considered in the designation of the relocation area and to analyze the compliance of land use in the relocation area with the 2024-2044 Bogor Regency Spatial Plan (RTRW). This study employs a qualitative method with a spatial descriptive approach based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, document reviews, and spatial data, including land-use maps, administrative boundaries, and the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW). Qualitative descriptive analysis was used to identify the factors influencing the designation of relocation areas, and overlay techniques were employed to analyze the compatibility of land use in the relocation areas with the 2024-2044 Bogor Regency Spatial Plan (RTRW). The research results show that the designation of relocation areas based on the PVMBG study took into account morphological conditions, slope gradients, geological conditions, landslide vulnerability levels, land ownership status, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure. A suitability analysis indicates that land use in Pasir Madang Village is predominantly in the “compliant” category according to the RTRW at 67.57%, while the “non-compliant” category accounts for 32.60%. The relocation area is located within an agricultural zone, and its land use is in accordance with the guidelines of the Bogor Regency RTRW, thereby supporting disaster mitigation efforts and the sustainability of settlements for affected communities.
